Course Description:

This course is designed to empower frontline workers with the skills and knowledge to develop a compassionate and empathetic approach in their interactions with clients, colleagues, and themselves. As a frontline worker, you often engage with individuals facing difficult circumstances and emotional challenges. Cultivating compassion can improve your ability to support and connect with those you serve, while also fostering personal resilience and well-being.

Here, we will educate you on the dangers of burnout, the value of CBCT® Compassion Training, and the ways you can improve your well-being by harnessing the power of compassion. By the end of this course, you will have:

  • Explored a contemplative approach to cultivating compassion
  • Reviewed new perspectives on the causes and downsides of burnout
  • Learned the potential of compassion to mitigate or protect against burnout

  • Accreditation Status: Emory Nursing Professional Development Center (ENPDC) is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s (ANCC) Commission on Accreditation.
