Course Description:
This course is specifically designed to help frontline workers understand personal resilience, how to enhance their coping skills, and navigate the unique challenges and stressors they encounter daily. As a frontline worker, you play a crucial role in serving the community and often face emotionally demanding situations. Building resilience can improve your ability to adapt, recover, and thrive in the face of adversity. By the end of this course, you should be able to:
- Understand why stress management is crucial to health and well-being
- Describe how our brain and bodies respond to stress
- Explain why stress can become harmful
- Understand how to train the mind to respond more optimally to stressors
